Falls School of Business
Master of Business Administration: Professional and Online
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Anderson University is a broad-based management program with an emphasis on practical application. The first year of the program emphasizes the integration of the basic business disciplines. The second year addresses the strategic and long-range needs of organizational life. A unique experience in global business is also available in the program. Classes are offered at several locations within the greater region of Indianapolis and Anderson.
The Professional MBA program is a traditional MBA program designed for the working individual. Classes meet in the evening and mostly one night each week. Most students complete the program in less than two years.
One of the reasons we are so successful is because we use the cohort model, which has proved to build teamwork, camaraderie, and accountability. This also allows our students to learn from each other and start building a lasting, meaningful network. We run on a 15-week semester, allowing for the development of practical and work-oriented projects.
100% online MBA
Anderson University launched a fully online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in fall 2016. This new program is a broad-based management program with an emphasis on practical application and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Classes are taught by the same Falls School of Business faculty teaching full-time to undergraduate and graduate students, and the program is designed to offer personal relationships with faculty, relevant course material, and a “salt and light” perspective to working in business. This program offers the flexibility and convenience of an online MBA degree without sacrificing quality or rigor. Each course is comprised of online discussions, interaction with the faculty member, and application of the concepts covered.
- A required online introductory class will prepare you for the online education experience.
- Each module is equipped with discussion boards and faculty videos.
- The online MBA is not a traditional cohort environment. Classmates will vary from class to class for a well-rounded perspective from professionals.
If you determine a need for a traditional classroom education experience, you may convert your studies anytime to one of several locations within the Professional MBA program.
Your AU Story Begins Now
The academic challenges have helped me grow as a business person, and the faith-based approach of each of the instructors were real examples that one can navigate in the professional world without compromising Christian principles. The university itself sends a clear and strong message of service to the church and society. Getting to know some of the faculty, it was clear they lived their lives the same way.
