Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is a program offered through the Internal Revenue Service that provides free tax services for local residents who need help but cannot afford professional services. Anderson University students provide the service annually, with the support of FSB faculty.
These services make it possible for residents to get their taxes done at no charge and provides an excellent practical experience for accounting and other business students. VITA is available one night a week during the spring semester through April 15.
For more details, including how to schedule an appointment, see the IRS website.
