AU’s MBA & MOL graduate programs are led by Dr. Celesta Bates, PhD, CPA, CGMA. Dr. Bates has taught accounting, leadership, and other business management classes for more than 15 years. She has served as the CFO of an Indiana state agency and as an electrical and mechanical construction business owner. She also volunteers as an executive board member with the Indiana Storytelling Arts and as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) educator and preparer. Dr. Bates brings all of this practical business knowledge and experience into the classroom to demonstrate theory in practice.
