Corey Daniel Turner went home to the Lord and loved ones on March 30, 2021. He was born on March 22, 1981, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Corey graduated from Triton Central High School and attended Anderson University.

He was proceeded in death by his two grandmothers, Frances Smith and Jeanette Turner; grandfather, Mack Turner; and son, Cash. He is survived by his parents, Terri and Danny Turner; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Jennifer Turner; two nephews, Skylour and Eastin Turner; niece; two best friends, Hayvin Turner and Henry Napier; two grandfathers, Marvin Smith and Pappy Bill; aunts and uncles, Tina and Gary Hendrick, Tami and Jim Eads, Martha and Jim Chapman, Vicki and Chris Guy and Debbie Turner; and many cousins and friends.

Corey enjoyed the sport of racing. In his spare time, he loved being in the garage where he could develop a closer bond and spend quality time with his father and brother or being at the racetrack spending time with family and friends before getting behind the wheel ready to race the 8 in the #00. Corey had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
