The Cultural Resource Center is home to cultural clubs, which build community among members and across campus. Each year, the CRC celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a full day of activities. Clubs also support efforts to share across cultural boundaries during Heritage Week each spring. We would love for you to be involved.
The Asian Student Association (ASA) of Anderson University serves as one of the CRC cultural clubs that provides for the cultural needs and experiences of the growing diverse student body. ASA is a group of students whose purpose is to provide exposure to the cultural experiences of Asian history, arts, interest, and traditions. These opportunities are offered throughout the year to the entire student body. ASA welcomes students and other partners within our community from all cultural backgrounds and ethnicities to share in the love of Asian culture and heritage through campus-wide events, culinary exploration, friendship, and faith. Our annual events include The Lunar New Year Celebration and Martial Arts Madness.

The Anderson University Gospel Choir (AUGC) serves as one of the CRC cultural clubs that provides for the cultural needs and experiences of the growing diverse student body. The AUGC has been a staple of this community for many years and serves as a regular in AU chapel services. These dynamic servant leaders travel around the country to serve at many local churches and events to share the unique sound of Gospel Music. Although gospel music has often been recognized as a hallmark of the African American Church, the roots are deep and spread across all genres. The sound can often be found in the sound of Jazz, Blues, and even in the some of our of popular culture music. Our mission is to knock down barriers by joining all cultures together in song. It is our desire that the strength of this music will encourage and inspire transformation in the lives of the hearer, the singer, the believer, and the seeker through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Anderson University Gospel Choir strives to worship the Lord and serve the community through music and ministry. The Black Student Association (BSA) of Anderson University serves as one of the CRC cultural clubs that provides for the cultural needs and experiences of the growing diverse student body. BSA desires to facilitate cultural awareness across the campus and community by hosting cultural events and educational opportunities that are always open to all students. BSA’ s mission is to learn, grow and teach others about the rich history and contributions of African Americans both past and present. We exist to empower, encourage, and educate through various mediums including books, films, special guests, and cultural excursions about African American history while working to positively impact the progression of our culture’s place in the world. We provide a safe space for all people through mutual unity and respect for ourselves and everyone around us. Membership is open to ALL students at Anderson University. *BSA meets on a bi-weekly basis.

The Hispanic Latino Student Association (HLSA) of Anderson University serves as one of the CRC cultural clubs that provides for the cultural needs and experiences of the growing diverse student body. HLSA is an organization that bridges cultural divides by exposing the Anderson campus community to the beautiful expressions and celebrations that exist within the Hispanic and Latin American culture. Our mission is to educate our community about the historical influence of Latin culture on the arts through various mediums like dance, music, and food. The primary vision is to strengthen cultural pride, awareness, and knowledge of Hispanic Latin Americans and culture on Anderson University’s campus. In the past HLSA has hosted some events including the Immigration Forum, Adventura Hispana, Carnaval Brasileiro. HLSA welcomes all persons from any cultural background to join us as we learn and grow together.

The International Student Association (ISA) of Anderson University serves as one of the CRC cultural clubs that provides for the cultural needs and experiences of the growing diverse student body. The ISA is comprised of both international and domestic students from over 25 different countries. Our students originate from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures. It is the desire of this club to contribute to each student's growth and learning through exploration of the stories that connect our community to the broader global society. It is our belief that if you can be located on the globe, you can find a home with us. We welcome the larger campus to bring and share your unique, diverse perspectives and culture. GISA invites you to gather with us while we share and enjoy culture, dance, music, and food.
