On-Campus Testing

Please remind your students of these testing opportunities and note that walk-ins are welcome. Thanks!

Dear students,

We need your help. Right now, 20 to 24-year-olds are carrying the vast majority of COVID cases within our state. Fortunately, most people your age have mild symptoms, but the older members of your family have a much more difficult time fighting this virus. Dr. Box, our State Health Commissioner, has asked me to test each of you for COVID before you leave campus for the Thanksgiving holiday.

It’s very important that you “KNOW BEFORE YOU GO” because you can make well-informed decisions about how to reduce risks to your family when you know if you might be infected.

In response to the request from Dr. Box, we have set up two more opportunities for you to get tested on campus before you leave for home. Both clinics will be offered TOMORROW, Friday, November 20.

9 – 11 a.m. in O.C. Lewis gymnasium balcony.

12 – 1:30 p.m. in the Cultural Resource Center (2nd floor Decker)

The test is a rapid test to identify if you are likely positive or likely negative. The best part is that this test is self-administered and is NOT the deep-nasal swab.

I greatly encourage you to come to see me at one of the clinics tomorrow. Many of your friends and familiar faces from around campus will be there to help you “KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!”

We’re all in this together, Ravens.

Dr. Neal
