Sociology classThe department offers majors in each of the afore-mentioned disciplines as well as an associate's degree in criminal justice. Depending on their interests and areas of study, students are prepared to enter careers related to law enforcement; courts and corrections; victim advocacy and assistance; family services and youth programs; family life or parent education programs; leadership roles in church, school, and community; entry-level positions in government or business; and social work. The programs also provide a foundation for graduate study.
