Graduate Studies in Music
The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance offers a Master of Music Education degree designed for the working professional. Students in this degree program may take three levels of Orff Schulwerk certification classes as well as classes in Kodaly and Dalcroze.
All classes in the MME program are taught by internationally known faculty and by our own Anderson University faculty. Concentrations in the MME program include Instrumental Music, Choral Music, and General Music.
Anderson University will be phasing out the Master of Music Education graduate program after the 2016-17 academic year. All students currently enrolled will be able to finish their degree. We will not be enrolling new students into the graduate program for 2017-18 and beyond. The Summer Studies Program in Music Education will still be offered, including courses in Orff Schulwerk, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, Conversational Solfege, First Steps in Music, and Drumming.
