Anderson, Ind. -- Anderson University will present a juried student exhibition in the Jessie C. Wilson Gallery of the Krannert Fine Arts Center from March 2 through April 6, with an opening reception at 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 2. This year’s professional designer jurors, presenting an exhibit entitled “It’s a Good Start,” will give an artist talk during the opening at 7 p.m.

The juried student exhibition is an annual competition, open to all visual communications design students. The jurors select the works for the show and honor distinctive awards.

This year’s jurors, creative director Ryan Abegglen and art director Josh Taylor of Pivot Marketing, are both graduates of Anderson University in visual communication design. Their work entitled, “It’s a Good Start,” will be hosted in conjunction with the selected student work. This annual tradition first took place in 2010 and gives both students and gallery visitors a helpful context for the selection of work in the student show.

This exhibit is free and open to the public in the Jessie C. Wilson Gallery of the Krannert Fine Arts Center Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., or by appointment. For more information, additional hours, or to arrange a group visit, call (765) 641-4320 or email Tai Lipan at
