Anderson University alum Judge Rudolph R. Pyle III, Indiana Court of Appeals (Fourth District), will be a featured speaker as a part of the university’s Centennial Chapel Speaker Series, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m. in Reardon Auditorium. Judge Rudolph R. Pyle III was appointed to the Court of Appeals of Indiana by Gov. Mitch Daniels and took his seat on Aug. 27, 2012.
Students from Indiana’s private, non-profit colleges and universities want to deliver three messages in person at the State House today: sincere thanks for the legislators’ ongoing commitment to state need-based financial aid for students; the urgent need for their continued support of this program; and the critical importance of increasing the number of Hoosiers with bachelor’s degrees to Indiana’s economy.
Anderson Symphony Orchestra Performs Special Centennial Concert April 29: Concert to feature AU alumna Lynelle Jonsson and the Anderson University Chorale
The Anderson Symphony Orchestra (ASO) will celebrate Anderson University’s Centennial at 7:30 p.m. April 29 in Reardon Auditorium on the campus of Anderson University. Anderson University alumna and distinguished soprano Lynelle Jonsson, who dazzled the stage at the ASO Broadway Musical Revue (2015), returns to the ASO with the Anderson University Chorale. Tickets may be purchased through the ASO web site.
Anderson University will host the opening of a new installation focusing on The Bill Gaither Trio as a part of a three-year rotating exhibit celebrating the life and legacy of Bill and Gloria Gaither. The opening will be conducted on Friday, Feb. 17, from 7-9 p.m. in York Performance Hall and Galleries. The opening of the new installation will include a visitor reception and is free and open to the public.
Anderson University students earn college credit and valuable life experience while participating in study abroad programs, as well as through service learning, learning communities and internships.
Anderson University alumna Loretta Cooper, senior communications consultant at LEA Consulting Group in Fairfax, Va., will be a featured speaker as a part of the university’s Centennial Chapel Series, Jan. 19, 11 a.m., in Reardon Auditorium on the AU campus. Prior to her work with LEA Consulting Group, she served as principal of Clarity Communications Group and a correspondent with ABC News, Washington Bureau.
Anderson University junior Michaela Levell is making her dreams come true with some help from AU. Levell has always wanted to serve God by serving people. She was also looking for a way to experience New York City. A Tri-S trip to the Big Apple provided the connection she needed to make her dream a reality.
As classes resumed for another year at Anderson University, the School of Science and Engineering and School of Nursing and Kinesiology welcomed new faculty.
