Anderson University recently received a record number of student scholarships from the Indiana Space Grant Consortium (INSGC). A total of 11 student scholarships were awarded for the 2017-18 school year, the highest in the state of Indiana for all universities/colleges.

Anderson University has once again earned a place in the top tier among Midwest regional universities in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges 2018 guidebook. The exclusive rankings, which include nearly 1,600 schools nationwide, are available with the purchase of The U.S. News College Compass, or the 2018 guidebook.
Anderson University is working to support the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts taking place in Houston and surrounding areas. AU students, faculty, and staff aim to exemplify our core values of servant leadership and generosity by working together to help the city and surrounding areas.
Dr. Charles Myricks, Jr., will speak in Anderson University’s chapel session on Sept. 21 at 11 a.m. in Reardon Auditorium. He currently serves as the chief operating and development officer of the National Association of the Church of God West Middlesex, Pa., and he serves on the Board of Trustees of Anderson University and the Board of Directors of Youth Excellence Performance Arts Workshop (Akron, Ohio).
Anderson University will host the eighth annual Elizabeth York Children’s Literature Festival on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, in Nicholson Library. The event is from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free to the public. A lunch will be available for $10 per person, and the deadline to RSVP for the lunch is Sept.
The Honorable Eric H. Holder, Jr., former attorney general for the United States, will be speaking at Anderson University on Sept. 19 for the observation of Constitution Day. Holder will first meet with Anderson University students majoring in national security studies, then provide an address at an open forum at 2 p.m. in York Performance Hall. A media session will follow at 2:45 p.m.
