An internship is a necessity in the pursuit of a job in today’s workforce. Whether one has a degree in athletic training, business, or history, many employers deem education incomplete without tangible, real-world experience. Anderson University students like Kayla Brandt and Michael Weigel are taking advantage of these opportunities.
We hope you will join us on the Anderson University campus Oct. 13-14 for our Homecoming 2017 celebration! As we conclude our Centennial year, the weekend will be filled with our traditional Homecoming events, as well as a few specific Centennial activities. Family Weekend will also take place during this special time on campus!
Anderson University has long been a partner with the City of Anderson in a variety of ways over the last 100 years. The partnership has proved to be valuable for both parties, since the university works to promote the city to its students, and the city works to promote the university to its citizens.
As the 2016-27 academic year comes to a close, the Anderson University Board of Trustees voted to confer emeritus status upon three departing faculty members.
“Faculty emeritus status is conferred by the Board of Trustees to certain faculty members who retire after having served the university under honorable circumstances for a total of 15 or more years,” Provost Marie Morris explained.
Anderson University students earn college credit and valuable life experience while participating in study abroad programs, as well as through service learning, learning communities and internships.
