At Anderson University, we teach that science and faith are not mutually exclusive; while at the same time there is room for discussion in seeking truth. While these discussions happen in many of our courses, we offer a course called “Integration of Faith and Science” for students who would like to dig deeper.

We believe one of our greatest strengths is the faculty-student relationship at AU. Students are regularly invited into the homes of faculty for cookouts and celebrations throughout the year. The faculty regularly lead students in devotions and often become spiritual mentors as students seek to mature in their faith.

Dr. Chad Wallace, dean of the School of Science and Engineering, personally leads a discipleship, Bible study group and has led several mission trips to Honduras and Nicaragua where our pre-med students and alumni doctors treat those who have no access to medical care. Among our faculty, Dr. Wallace is not unique.

AU is a safe place to learn how science and faith are compatible as well as how to serve our Creator.
