Harold Owens II is an adjunct professor of the Department of Computer Science at Anderson University. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from Purdue University, Indiana; master’s degree in computer science from the University of North Texas, Texas; and his bachelor’s degree in computer science from McMurry University, Texas. His research is a combination of computer networks, distributed systems, and software engineering where he researches in the design and development of network architectures and network applications such as load-balancing and traffic engineering. His research interests include computer networks, distributed computing, software engineering, software testing, and software architecture. Harold is a senior software engineer, a fellow at Johnson Controls International (JCI) where he architects, develops, and tests mission critical distributed video management systems.
