Jennifer Coy teaches at Anderson University in the Department of Computer Science and Department of Physical Sciences and Engineering. She joined the AU faculty in August of 2014, bringing 10 years of experience teaching at a small college. Prior to joining AU, Jennifer taught Physics and Computer Science at Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Ind.
Jennifer’s research interests lie in the connections between computer science and physics. She attended the University of Toledo as an undergraduate, receiving a B.S. in Engineering Physics and a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering. She received her masters and doctorate from the Purdue University Physics department, where she studied gravity within galaxies using a parallel processing program to compare alternate theories of gravity to dark matter models. She is currently working to initiate a research program at AU in computational physics.
