Teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels, coupled with seven years of practical experience with Zale Corporation, prepared Dr. Truitt for an exciting career at Anderson University. Undergraduate majors in accounting, economics, and management, along with his professional designation as a certified management accountant, provide him a strong technical base for business education. Earning an MBA from the University of North Alabama in 1986, Dr. Truitt completed a doctoral program in finance at Mississippi State University in 1996. He served as a finance and economics professor prior to serving as the MBA director. Dr. Truitt has served as dean for the Falls School of Business since 2003.
