String Camp - June 4-8, 2018

Anderson University String Camp is open to qualified string students (Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass). Designed for high school students, ages 13-18, this unique camp experience was developed by the string faculty at Anderson University and focuses on learning the necessary skills leading to beautiful and heartfelt performances. Students have the opportunity to learn and perform along world-class instructors including members of the Pittsburgh Symphony and Indianapolis Symphony. Students will have the opportunity to perform in the state-of-the-art York Performance Hall and Galleries. The daily schedule includes chamber music rehearsals/coaching, master-classes, orchestra rehearsals and much more. Students will have the opportunity to perform in master-classes and recitals throughout the duration of the camp.

There will be daily evening activities including recitals, sessions on orchestral playing and much more. In addition, there will be lots of fun activities including games/movies. Students will have the opportunity to experiment and jam on electric string instruments.

Taught on the beautiful Anderson University campus, students have the option of staying in Martin Hall.

Cost is $695 all inclusive (housing, meals, and tuition)
