W. Curtis Lee, seated and wearing a blue sportscoat and striped tie.“I give out of respect for those who gave of themselves to provide for me what has become my Alma Mater and to help in a small way to make its strong continuation possible. I was in the 1947 graduating class, which was the first class after AC had received full accreditation by the North Central Association of Colleges.  That accreditation, for which President John Morrison and Dean Russell Olt worked so diligently, made it possible for me to be admitted for subsequent study in four other universities with degrees from Yale and from Miami University in Ohio. I am 91 years old and greatly enjoy the memories of my formative years at AC.  I pray that the student body at AU today will look back with such joy on their years at Anderson University.”
