Transcripts and References

After completing the application and required essays, the next step in admissions process is to request transcripts and references.

Transcripts: Contact each accredited school you attended and request one original transcript* to be sent directly to:

* If you received an undergraduate degree from Anderson University, the Seminary will contact the registrar for your transcript.


References: Ask three individuals to complete personal references, using the forms provided (PDF) OR submit reference forms online. If reference forms are submitted electronically, you agree to waive your right to review the information submitted.

One form should be completed by each of the following:

  • Your pastor (ordained minister for Online MACM applicants)
  • A teacher or colleague who knows you well
  • A member of your local church (completed by officer of the congregation for Online MACM applicants)

It is helpful to include a stamped envelope when giving the forms to your references. References should be returned to the address below:
