School of Theology & Christian Ministry

Christian Ministry Careers

Our graduates go into church ministry, social agencies, the missionary field, teaching at the collegiate level, para-church organizations (such as Youth For Christ and Young Life), or attend graduate school. Many of our students transition into the graduate programs at the Anderson University School of Theology and Christian Ministry, but others have attended Claremont School of Theology, Duke Divinity School, Union Theological Seminary, Vanderbilt University, Fuller Theological Seminary, and Asbury Theological Seminary.

More than 50% of majors in Christian ministry studies nationwide are from any of the disciplines associated with the liberal arts and humanities. Christian ministry majors, especially in conjunction with another major, have careers in social work, the legal profession (lawyer, law enforcement, judge), government work (e.g., international diplomacy), international business, and Peace and Conflict Resolution.
