Traditional Undergraduate

Edwards Scholarship: $16,000/year
Nicholson Scholarship: $14,000/year

Transfer Students

Edwards Transfer Merit Scholarship: $14,500/year
Nicholson Transfer Merit Scholarship: $12,500/year
Helios Transfer Merit Scholarship: $10,500/year
Morrison Transfer Merit Scholarship: $9,000/year
Raven Transfer Award: $6,000/year

*Awarded and renewable based on GPA. Can be applied toward tuition only.

Must have a GPA ≥ 3.0 on an unweighted 4.0 scale

Must have application/essays submitted by Jan. 1 of their senior year

Must be an incoming freshman, who is a child of one or more graduates of Anderson University. Transfers are ineligible.

Can be applied toward tuition only.

Must be an existing member of the Center for Leadership Development prior to applying for the scholarship

Full-tuition scholarship (4-year renewable; combines with merit scholarship)

Scholarship deadline: Nov. 21

Scholarship decision: Feb. 19

≥ 1050 SAT or ≥ 22 ACT along with a 3.0 GPA.

Must meet additional qualifications as listed on the scholarship application.

Awarded to children of Church of God ministers

Students must attend full time and maintain satisfactory academic progress.

Parents must be active in church service and must provide proof of pastorship via business card, church website, or a listing in CHOG Yearbook.

 

Competitive $2,500 scholarship, renewable for 3 years (total amount of $10,000).

Be admitted as a first-time student to Anderson University.

Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.

Demonstrate community involvement through church, school, or other organizations.

Must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

Must major in Information Security.

Apply for the Cybersecurity Scholarship.

 

$500 (4-year renewable)

Must qualify for Edwards Scholarship

Competitive scholarship. Transfer students ineligible.

Can be applied toward tuition only.

GPA ≥ 2.5 on an unweighted 4.0 scale

Must be a full-time incoming student (includes transfers), whose parent or legal guardian is a graduate of Anderson University. This does not apply to graduate study.

Named in honor of a true servant of God, the Dr. James Earl Massey Scholarship recognizes students who have achieved academic success and demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership and bridging cultural divides in their home communities. It is designed to expand diversity within the student leadership team at Anderson University. 

Competitive scholarship - amounts typically range from $2,000 - $4,000

Available to first-time students (including first-time transfer students) with minimum high school GPA of 2.75

Must meet the additional qualifications as listed

Must apply, be accepted, and submit a deposit to the university

Must complete a FAFSA

Annual review process required for renewing the scholarship for up to an additional three years

Massey Application

 

Freshmen only

Cumulative GPA of 2.50 or better on a 4.0 scale.

Demonstrated leadership potential through participation in community service, extracurricular activities, or other activities that reflect leadership abilities or commitment to serving others.

Be a U.S. citizen and Madison County resident.

NAACP Scholarship Application

 

Be admitted as a first-time student to Anderson University.

Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.

Have a demonstrated respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship through participation in community service, extracurricular activities, or other activities that reflect character or commitment to serving others.

Be a U.S. citizen and Anderson resident.

Graduate from Anderson High School or Anderson Preparatory Academy.

Scholarship is non-renewable.

Apply for the Mayor of Anderson scholarship.

 

Full-Tuition (4-year renewable; combines with merit-based scholarship)

Scholarship Deadline: Rolling deadline. Application period begins Oct. 1 and continues until March 1.

Preference is given to early applicants beginning on February 1

Must be an existing member of the National Association of the Church of God prior to applying for the scholarship

Must meet additional qualifications as listed on the scholarship application

Must apply, be accepted, and submit a deposit to the university

Must complete a FAFSA

Annual review process required for renewing the scholarship for up to an additional three years
